Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Today has been a perfect Sunday - lazy start with freshly brewed coffee and a quiet ponder in the garden. The weather is just as good as it gets for me - warm with a slight breeze. Having a look around the garden it was lovely to see so many flowers in full bloom - the lavender is blissful, I can't walk past it without sweeping my hand through it and drinking it the timeless fragrance.

I even managed a couple of hours sat in the garden working on my Granny Stripe Blanket which seems to be rapidly approaching it's finale. I will hopefully be able to reveal the finished blanket by the end of the month.

My return to Crocheting

Welcome to my blog and my crocheting exploits. Thanks to Lucy at Attic 24 for renewing my interest in a craft I was taught before I started school. I just had to make the Japanese Flower Scarf from her fabulous blog. This yarn is Debbie Bliss 'Andes' which I purchased at a fantastic price of £4.90 per hank from HCS Crafts - this yarn is soooo soft and is a blend of baby alpaca and mulberry silk.
